Remota is a world-class retreat in the vast Patagonia, where our guests are received and welcomed as visitors to our grand home, attended to with dedication, delicacy, and concern for their interests. We have a building spanning over 7000 square meters, featuring 72 rooms of 33 square meters each, and spacious areas dedicated to leisure, reading, and contemplation, including a heated pool and saunas, a shop, bar, lounges, and of course, a dazzling restaurant offering the finest cuisine prepared by our renowned chef. This masterpiece is designed with the purpose of allowing our guests to experience and feel Patagonia, even from within the building. Architect Germán del Sol –National Architecture Prize winner– proposes a work that does not compete with its surroundings, where nature always takes center stage. A warm, eco-friendly refuge connected with the outside, inspired by the ancient Patagonian shearing sheds tilted by the wind.
All our rooms are spacious (33 sqm) and bright, offering diverse and privileged views of mountains, fjords, glaciers, and the picturesque town of Puerto Natales. They are designed and decorated with the intention of bringing our views into the ambiance of Patagonia, adorned with Lenga and Guaitecas Cypress woods, two noble and aromatic native species of the area. This perfect combination of elements invites rest and total disconnection. We have 72 superior rooms, 23 with 1 queen-size bed, and 49 with two single beds for individual use.
Gastronomy
We have a high-level kitchen that all our guests can enjoy. Our Chef has designed a menu proposal that includes the best local products from the sea such as hake and exotic meats like guanaco, lamb, and hare, with vegetables and greens. These are fused into preparations with an international flair and accompanied by the best Chilean wines, creating the perfect combination. To complement these dishes, we offer a wide variety of homemade pastries and bread produced in our own bakery, all made in-house.
Excursions
Our primary goal is to showcase Chilean Patagonia in all its splendor to our guests. To achieve this, all our excursions are semi-private and conducted in the comfort of our own vehicles. Passengers are always accompanied by bilingual guides from the area with extensive knowledge of flora, fauna, glaciology, and outdoor activities. All our outings include full meals and entrances. We visit every corner of Torres del Paine National Park, but we also have exclusive routes and trails around Puerto Natales, unexplored places that allow us to create unique experiences for all our guests seeking the hallmark of our Adventure Lodge.
