The Spirit of the Glacier Cruise is an expedition-style journey through Lake Argentino and Los Glaciares National Park, combining scenic navigation, glacier viewing, and guided landings. All passengers follow the same route and activities, with the option to choose cabin category and number of nights on board.
Day 1 – Glaciers and Expedition Navigation
The cruise begins with navigation through the Canal de los Témpanos, offering panoramic views of some of the park’s most impressive glaciers, including Upsala and Spegazzini. Throughout the day, guests enjoy onboard explanations from the guide and selected landings for short interpretive walks in pristine Patagonian environments.
Accommodation is provided on board, with two cabin options available:
• Deluxe Cabin: a comfortable exterior cabin with private bathroom, ideal for a classic expedition experience.
• Premium Cabin: a more spacious, front-facing exterior cabin with private bathroom, offering enhanced views and additional comfort.
Dinner and overnight accommodation take place on board.
Day 2 – Perito Moreno Glacier and End of Cruise or Continuation
After breakfast, the cruise continues navigating through glacial landscapes, including navigation in front of the northern face of Perito Moreno Glacier. Depending on conditions, additional guided activities or landings may take place.
Passengers who choose the 1-night option complete the experience after this day, returning to port.
Passengers who select the 2-night option continue the journey with an additional day of navigation and exploration, allowing more time to reach remote areas of the park, enjoy onboard amenities, and fully immerse in the glacier environment before returning on the following day.
