The French Valley Tour will take us deep into the mountains as we venture through the famous French Valley, in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park and the renowned W Circuit.
It starts by sailing across the sparkling Lake Pehoe to Paine Grande, where we’ll continue along the north side of Lake Skottsberg until reaching the bottom of the French Valley.
You’ll ascend along a steep trail, and once deep in the valley, you’ll fully immerse yourself in the present moment as you feel the powerful energy flowing through the native lenga forest. When you emerge from the treeline, you’ll encounter a new landscape: a breathtaking view of the multicolored Cuernos del Paine and the hanging French Glacier from the Paine Grande hill.
This active glacier provides the opportunity to hear and witness its movements, how it creaks and cracks.
Before departing, don’t forget to look back! The lakes below, surrounded by mountains, are the final touch to this panoramic view. Here, you’ll witness in 360 degrees the Nordenskjöld, Pehoé, and Toro lakes and the mountains Paine Grande, Hoja, Máscara, Espada, Fortaleza, and Aleta de Tiburón.

This dynamic glacier provides a captivating spectacle as we witness its dynamic movements, from the echoing cracks to the shifting crevasses.
Before bidding farewell to this enchanting landscape, we pause to admire the breathtaking vista below. The glistening lakes encircled by towering peaks offer a picturesque backdrop to our adventure, with the Nordenskjöld, Pehoé, and Toro lakes, alongside the imposing mountains of Paine Grande, Hoja, Máscara, Espada, Fortaleza, and Aleta de Tiburón, completing the scene.
