The small village is worldwide known as the capital of the trekking.

Day 1 ????

Arrival to El Calafate Airport or by bus from Puerto Natales

Arrival in Iguazu. This is the gateway to one of the most spectacular natural wonders in South America and indeed the world! Yes, the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier and the glaciers in Los Glaciares National Park. Once you arrive to El Calafate, check in the selected hotel and free time to enjoy. If you arrived early, some optional activities can be added. Check the list below.

Day 2

Excursion to the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier

Early pick up in the morning, to enjoy a full day visit to the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier.

An excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier typically offers visitors a comprehensive experience, starting with transportation from El Calafate to Los Glaciares National Park. Led by knowledgeable guides, participants are guided to strategically positioned viewing platforms where they can marvel at the glacier’s immense size and witness ice calving events. Optional boat tours provide a closer perspective, while adventurous souls can opt for mini-trekking excursions on the glacier itself. Interpretive centers may complement the journey, offering deeper insights into the glacier’s formation and significance. With opportunities for independent exploration and ample time to soak in the breathtaking scenery, the excursion promises a memorable encounter with the stunning beauty of Patagonia’s icy landscapes.

To complete your visit, you can add lunch at the Perito Moreno Restaurant, a boat navigation to see the glacier from the lake, and even a Nativo Experience to enjoy a cultural experience in a cave and enjoy an exquisite dinner.

DAY 3

Full day visit to El Chaltén

After breakfast, we will enjoy another unforgettable tour to El Chaltén, the small village know as the capital of the trekking. From there, you can enjoy the amazing Fitz Roy Massif.

Starting at 07:00 a.m, we will pick you up at the Hotel in El Calafate to begin our adventure.
We will travel a little more than 200 kilometers from El Calafate to El Chalten, also known as the National Capital of Trekking. Halfway through, we will visit the Parador La Leona for about 15 minutes.
Around midmorning, we will be arriving at El Chaltén. After visiting the National Park Administration’s interpretation center, we will walk for approximately 1.30 hours through the Mirador de Los Cóndores Circuit.

On the return, and if you want, you can add a trekking to Chorrillo del Salto (a short walk that will allow us to appreciate a waterfall of about 20 meters high). The trekking takes 2 hours and there is a low difficulty level activity.

In the afternoon, we will have about 30 minutes to visit the town before meeting again to start the return to El Calafate.

DAY 4

Goodbye El Calafate

After breakfast, free time until transfer to airport. If your flight leaves later in afternoon or in the evening, some optional activities can be added. Check the list below.

On arrival to airport, or bus station, a guide will be waiting for you with a sign with our name to inform pick up time for all activities in El Calafate. Usually, activities start early in the morning, around 7-730 am, to finalize around 7 pm
