She has been with Explora for five years, overseeing breeding, rearing, training, feeding, and horse care.

SPA:
Guests can relax in the indoor heated pool, sauna, or outdoors in one of the four Jacuzzis overlooking the Paine River.

ENCOUNTER AREA

This zone contains areas where different worlds converge, generating unique characteristics as a result of their interaction.

LINDA LAGOON
Type: Horseback Riding Duration: 2 hours Distance: 6.1 km / 3.8 mi We depart from the stables and ride through an area of small hills, gaining altitude until we reach Linda Lagoon with views of the Paine Massif. During this ride, we will encounter various ascents and descents, where we may see Nothofagus forests and birds such as coots and Andean geese. Half day / Easy

CUERNOS (HORNS)
Type: Hiking Duration: 7 hours Distance: 18.8 km / 11.7 mi We depart by van to Estancia Cerro Paine, where we begin our hike along Nordenskjöld Lake until reaching the ascent trail of Bader Valley. We’ll have incredible views of the Cuernos, Sarmiento and Nordenskjöld lakes, and the Almirante Nieto Glacier. Full day / Advanced

AUSTRAL BIRDS
Type: Overland Duration: 6 hours Distance: 7.8 km / 4.8 mi Ideal for flora and fauna enthusiasts, this exploration takes place outside the park, around a lagoon inhabited by various bird species. We’ll walk while contemplating the varied vegetation and the behavior and sounds of the birds. Between September and April, sightings increase due to the spring and summer conditions. Full day / Moderate

STEPPE AREA

Reflects the spirit of those who have inhabited and still inhabit this southern territory.

AONIKENK Type: Hiking Duration: 3 hours Distance: 7.6 km / 4.7 mi We depart by van to the eastern sector of the park, where we walk exploring wildlife. During the hike, we’ll visit a cave with paintings over 4,000 years old and see geese, ducks, and swans in the lagoons along the way. The terrain has various ascents and descents without steep slopes. Return by van. Note: Minors under 15 years old must always be accompanied by their legal guardians. If they are between 15 and 17 years old, they must have signed authorization from their legal guardians. Half day / Moderate

CONSERVATION RESERVE AREA

Explora Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve is a Patagonian ranch that Explora has turned into a conservation reserve.

LA PAMPA
Type: Hiking Duration: 3:00 Distance: 6.8 km / 4.2 mi We walk through the steppe of the Reserve with mountain chains, steppe, and valleys around. During the tour, you can enjoy views of the Paine mountain range, Obelisco hill, Jara lagoon, and Baguales sierra. The local flora is rich in coirón, matabarrosa, and ñirre, while the fauna includes guanacos, pumas, chingues, caranchos, condors, flamingos, among others. In this area, you can perceive the history of the occupation of the last hope province, as a result of the old ranch that was found here. Also, the history of Lady Florence Dixie, the first explorer of Patagonia. Half day / Moderate

RIO ZAMORA
Type: Hiking Duration: 2:00 Distance: 4.9 km / 3.1 mi We walk through the western sector of the Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve, with views of the Zamora canyon and river, passing through Magellanic forests and rock monoliths. Along the way, you can admire views of the impressive “V”-shaped canyon of the Zamora River and the Paine mountain range, including Obelisco hill. The local flora is rich in coirón, matabarrosa, lenga, mataguanacos, and ñirre, while the fauna includes guanacos, pumas, chingues, caranchos, condors, bandurria, chuncho, among others. Half day / Easy

LA VEGA
Type: Horseback Riding Duration: 1:45 Distance: 6.4 km / 4 mi We depart horseback riding from the stables towards Jara lagoon, where we’ll have views of steppe, La Vega (wetland), ñirre forests, and areas of regenerative grazing. Half day / Easy

OBELISCO VIEWPOINT
Type: Hiking Duration: 5:00 Distance: 7.3 km / 4.5 mi We walk through the Obelisco hill sector, crossing lenga forests to reach a viewpoint where you can see mountain ranges and valleys, as well as the old January 2 ranch, the current Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve. Full day / Moderate

LA ESTRELLA
Type: Hiking Duration: 6:00 Distance: 6 km / 3.7 mi We walk through a lenga forest, appreciating different types of vegetation and panoramic views. The sound of woodpeckers will accompany us during our tour. Full day / Moderate

THE FORESTS
Type: Hiking Duration: 2:00 Distance: 5.6 km / 3.5 mi We walk through the Laguna Jara sector where you can see different landscapes such as La Vega (wetland), steppe, forests, mountains, and valleys. As we travel through this territory, we’ll have views of different flora and fauna such as coirón, matabarrosa, ñirres, guanacos, pumas, chingues, flamingos, among others. Half day / Easy
