Eolo Patagonia Lodge embodies the spirit of adventure, tranquility, and connection with nature that defines the Patagonian region. Nestled amidst the vast and untamed landscapes of Argentine Patagonia, Eolo offers a retreat where guests can immerse themselves in the wilderness while enjoying the comforts of a luxury lodge.
The spirit of Eolo is rooted in its harmonious integration with the surrounding environment. It stands as a testament to sustainable tourism, with a commitment to preserving the natural beauty and ecological integrity of the region. From its architecture, which blends seamlessly with the landscape, to its eco-friendly practices, Eolo embodies a deep respect for the land and its inhabitants.
At Eolo, guests are invited to embark on unforgettable adventures, exploring the rugged terrain of Patagonia on horseback, hiking through pristine wilderness, or setting out on excursions to discover the region’s breathtaking natural wonders. Yet, amidst the thrill of outdoor exploration, there is also a sense of serenity and peace that permeates the lodge—a quiet retreat where one can disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with oneself and the natural world.
Eolo’s spirit is also reflected in its warm hospitality and attention to detail. From the moment guests arrive, they are welcomed into a world of comfort and luxury, where every need is anticipated and every desire fulfilled. Whether indulging in gourmet cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients, relaxing with a spa treatment overlooking the sweeping vistas, or simply enjoying the company of fellow travelers around a crackling fire, guests at Eolo are enveloped in a sense of warmth and wellbeing.
The spirit of Eolo is about more than just luxury accommodation or thrilling adventures—it’s about experiencing the magic of Patagonia in all its raw beauty and profound tranquility, and leaving with a deeper appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.
Each of the 17 rooms was designed to ensure guests enjoy a deep rest while, at the same time, from the privacy of each room, they can contemplate the landscape.
Pastel tones and simple lines share space with antique furniture that enhances the atmosphere of the traditional rooms of the Argentine South.
Additionally, the rooms have a telephone, individually adjustable central heating, and Wi-Fi connection, and are equipped with a complete set of amenities. No room has a television: EOLO seeks to foster dialogue between travelers and their surroundings. Therefore, instead of a screen, each room has comfortable armchairs to enjoy the view that unfolds on the other side of the windows.

THE HOTEL
Without excess, without extravagance. This is how EOLO was conceived: with austerity as a concept, but also as its origin and destination. Inspired by the ancient estates of the area, the entire hotel – from the furniture to the tableware – combines the simple structure of Creole homes with the imprint of indigenous peoples and the cutting-edge lines of modern architecture.
The project was led by Juan José Drago and was carried out under the aesthetic and conceptual supervision of architect Fernando Bustillo, grandson of the renowned Alejandro Bustillo, the name and talent behind hotels such as Llao Llao (in Bariloche) and Provincial (in Mar del Plata).
The design of EOLO allows the hotel to interact with its surroundings. All spaces have an exterior view, and the dynamics of the building revolve around a vital element: the central garden. A surface that facilitates circulation within the facilities and allows one to enjoy the outdoors sheltered from the wind. From there, you can breathe the Patagonian freshness and enjoy the formal nods of a simple space, which is renewed daily with the conviction that strength always lies in the details.
GASTRONOMY
The cuisine at EOLO brings together the best of both worlds that converge at the lodge: our chef, Juan Pablo Bonaveri – who has been in charge of the restaurant for five years – makes use of and optimizes regional products, while also applying techniques and aesthetics from international cuisine. The result is a personal proposal that revalues our indigenous heritage without losing its cosmopolitan touch, and that brings this balance to each of the dishes we create for our guests.
In the morning, guests can enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise; at noon, lunches are served facing the vastness of the landscape, and at tea time, they can explore our delicate selection of blends paired with some exquisite pastries. Before or after dinner, the bar is also an ideal environment to relax, exchange anecdotes, and share the day’s experiences.
The wines exclusively come from Argentine wineries. We have visited the country’s best vineyards, selecting labels with the sole purpose of offering excellent varietals.

PeritoMorenoGlacier.com is a website from RipioTurismo, an Argentinean travel agency working since 2000 building and operating tours in Argentina and South America.
Without a doubt, a wonderful place to enjoy the Perito Moreno Glacier and other attractions in the area. Nestled in the heart of the Patagonian steppe, the hotel offers the luxury of simplicity, with excellent cuisine, top-notch service, and unparalleled views. If you wish to immerse yourself in Patagonian life, this is the place for you.
The hotel is located halfway between the city of El Calafate and Los Glaciares National Park, yet it is far from the hustle and bustle of tourist activity in the area. If you enjoy hotels set in natural environments, you will be amazed by Eolo. Within its 4,000-hectare estate, guests can enjoy horseback riding, mountain biking, trekking, birdwatching, and the discreet elegance of the facilities.
With only 17 rooms, guests can witness a landscape that reveals its soul to privileged eyes. Because only those who experience things from within reach their essence.
It’s worth noting perhaps the absence of a spa with a heated pool, which could complement the offerings, but it is very well replaced by the views and tranquility the place offers.
For us, it’s a luxury hotel, although it’s far from what a traditional 5-star hotel should be, it embodies the luxury of simplicity. If you’re willing to pay a little more than the standard to enjoy nature and comfort, this is an excellent choice. From my point of view, it’s a 100% recommendable hotel!
