FULL DAY EXCURSION TO PERITO MORENO GLACIER
The excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier offers an unforgettable journey into the heart of Argentine Patagonia’s natural beauty. We start around 09:00 hs from your hotel in El Calafate and go directly to Los Glaciares National Park, where you can find the Perito Moreno Glacier. During the trip of 80 km, you will be able to appreciate the Patagonian steppe and mountains view.
Leaving town, we can see the Argentino Lake along with the Bahia Redonda, where it is possible to observe a large variety of birds and yellow fields due to their pasture called coirón.
On the first 40 km, we will cross the Patagonian steppe, and once inside the National Park, we will observe prominent species of trees belonging to the “notofagus” family (ñires, lengas, guindos). Once arrive at the glacier area, we can enjoy its majesty and walk through the balconies to have different views of the front side of it.

FULL DAY EXCURSION TO EL CHALTEN:
Starting at 07:00 a.m, we will pick you up at the Hotel in El Calafate to begin our adventure.
We will travel a little more than 200 kilometers from El Calafate to El Chalten, also known as the National Capital of Trekking. Halfway through, we will visit the Parador La Leona for about 15 minutes.
Around midmorning, we will be arriving at El Chaltén. After visiting the National Park Administration’s interpretation center, we will walk for approximately 1.30 hours through the Mirador de Los Cóndores Circuit.
On the return, we will regain energy with a delicious lunch and visit the Chorrillo del Salto (a short walk that will allow us to appreciate a waterfall of about 20 meters high).
In the afternoon, we will have about 30 minutes to visit the town before meeting again to start the return to El Calafate.
