Undoubtedly the best option in Patagonia to cross the mythical Strait of Magellan and have the opportunity to admire and interact with these graceful birds, the Magellanic Penguins, along with them we will have the interesting opportunity to see Black-browed Albatrosses, Skuas, Dolphin Gulls, Cormorants, and Kelp Gulls in the surrounding skies. Upon disembarking on Magdalena Island, we will encounter not only a visual spectacle but also a world of smells and sounds… The trail leading to the lighthouse passes through hundreds of caves and allows for a close-up appreciation of these flightless birds. The lighthouse itself is an attraction, being a National Historic Monument with a panoramic view of the island and its surroundings. The time spent on the island is approximately one hour.

This is a half-day excursion sailing through the Strait of Magellan to Magdalena Island and Marta Island. There we will be able to discover the penguins that inhabit the area. These are Magellanic Penguins, but also other animals such as Black-browed Albatrosses, Skuas, Dolphin Gulls, Cormorants, and Kelp Gulls in the surrounding skies.
