This full-day adventure combines two of Ushuaia’s most iconic experiences: a guided walk among Magellanic and Gentoo penguins on Isla Martillo, and a scenic boat ride along the Beagle Channel. You’ll travel by minibus through the lush Fuegian forest, sail to a remote island for an exclusive wildlife encounter, and cruise past Isla de Pájaros, Isla de Lobos, and the historic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse. ITINERARY

8:00 AM – Meeting Point at Tourist Pier
Meet your guide at the office on Av. Prefectura Naval 410 to begin your journey.

Morning – Transfer to Isla Martillo
Travel by minibus along National Route 3 and Route J, passing through the scenic Fuegian forest en route to the embarkation point.

Late Morning – Navigation to Isla Martillo
Board a semi-rigid boat for a 20-minute ride to Isla Martillo.

Midday – Penguin Walk on Isla Martillo
Enjoy a 1-hour guided walk among Magellanic and Gentoo penguins with a specialized guide who will share insights about their behavior and habitat.

Return to Ushuaia – Break
After the walk, return to Ushuaia and take a short break before the next activity.

Afternoon – Beagle Channel Navigation
Rejoin the group at the pier for a 2.5-hour navigation along the Beagle Channel. Visit Isla de Pájaros and Isla de Lobos, home to bird and sea lion colonies, and admire the famous Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse.

Late Afternoon – Return to Port
Conclude the tour back at the port in Ushuaia with unforgettable memories and incredible photos.

Yes, if Estancia Harberton is open, you can visit as an optional addition to the tour, but an entrance fee will apply. Please note, Estancia Harberton is closed on Tuesdays.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?
