ITINERARY

The adventure begins at 9:00 AM with a scenic 4×4 ride along the famous Route 40, taking you to the Santa Cruz River. Upon arrival, you’ll receive safety instructions and gear up with dry suits, life jackets, and all necessary equipment for your kayaking journey.

Once prepared, embark on a 15 km paddle downstream, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and local wildlife. After this exhilarating experience, you’ll arrive at Estancia El Rincon, where a delicious riverside lunch awaits. Afterward, relax and enjoy the return journey to El Calafate.

Yes, non-kayakers can join the lunch with a 50% fee and travel to the estancia by 4×4

What happens if the weather is bad?

The excursion will be canceled in the presence of strong winds, and you will be offered a refund or rescheduling.

Are there any age restrictions?

Participants must be at least 16 years old. The excursion is not suitable for pregnant women.

What does the tour include?

The tour includes a certified guide, double kayaks, Gore-Tex dry suits, life jackets, boots, gloves, and lunch.

Do I need kayaking experience?
