Your journey begins with a hotel pick-up in Ushuaia around 8:00 AM. You’ll head east via National Route 3 and then Route “J” until reaching the Lasiphashaj River. Here, guides will provide a safety briefing and gear before starting the canoeing portion. Paddling downstream, you’ll enter the Beagle Channel, observing marine life such as seabirds and, possibly, sea lions.
The paddle ends near Estancia Harberton, where you’ll board a motorboat to navigate toward Isla Martillo. From the boat, you’ll have the chance to view a vibrant colony of penguins during their nesting season.
The next destination is the majestic Gable Island. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a Patagonian lunch featuring local flavors and wines. After coffee, a tranquil hike takes you through stunning natural landscapes and remnants of the Yamana culture and early settlers. The peaceful environment offers a deep connection with nature.
After the hike, a zodiac will take you back to Harberton, from where the bus returns you to Ushuaia around 6:30 PM.
