Explora Patagonia Lodge: 3-Night Program

Arriving at Explora Patagonia is often an adventure in itself, as guests journey through the stunning landscapes of southern Chile to reach this remote and captivating destination. Most travelers arrive at Santiago International Airport (SCL) before catching a connecting flight to Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales, the nearest cities to Torres del Paine National Park. From there, guests can choose to travel by road or air to reach the park.

If arriving by air, guests may land at the Teniente Julio Gallardo Airport in Puerto Natales, where they’ll be greeted by representatives from Explora Patagonia. The hotel offers transfer services from the airport to the hotel, typically by private vehicle or shared shuttle, depending on the guest’s preference.

Alternatively, some guests opt for a scenic road journey from Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park. Explora Patagonia can arrange private transfers or provide detailed directions for those driving themselves. The road trip offers breathtaking views of the Patagonian landscape, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.

Upon arrival at Explora Patagonia, guests are welcomed by the hotel’s staff, who assist with luggage and check-in procedures. The check-in process is smooth and efficient, with guests provided with all the necessary information about their stay, including details about the hotel’s facilities, dining options, and scheduled excursions.

Our hikes and horseback rides include mountains, beautiful turquoise lakes, glaciers, lenga and ñirre forests, viewpoints, meadows, and rivers, as well as the most iconic sections of the trekking circuit known as the “W”.

Our explorations provide a profound experience of this southern territory, for which we have delineated six different exploration zones, each with its own set of unique geographical, cultural, and biospheric characteristics.

HIKING
We walk in all our destinations. Walking at your own pace allows for immersion in the natural and cultural environment: from easy to expert and from half-day to full-day excursions.

OVERLAND

HORSEBACK RIDING
