If you´re a nature lover, it´s for you! A luxury camp at Chalten Camp draws inspiration from the spirit of adventurers who challenged the impossible. Located in a unique corner of El Chaltén, we are the first property on the other side of the Río de las Vueltas. Our glamping experience is unparalleled, with stunning views of Mount Fitz Roy, inviting you to connect with nature in its purest form. Our exclusive domes, scattered amidst native forest, offer shelter and comfort with panoramic windows overlooking the majestic mountain range. We are committed to sustainability. Together with our guests, we strive to minimize our environmental impact. Through mindful consumption of energy and water, we create a unique and special space.
Our domes are built on wooden stilts, harmonizing with the native forest. Each 27-square-meter unit features a bedroom, a private bathroom, and 220-volt electricity. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere with wood-burning stoves and double beds with plenty of warm blankets. Our geodesic structures provide a unique and memorable stay. With only 12 units scattered in nature, the domes offer an exclusive refuge to experience the Patagonian climate. Every sunrise, drizzle, snowfall, and windy day blend with the warmth indoors, creating a unique experience each day.
Chalten Camp is located in the heart of Los Glaciares National Park, in the town of El Chaltén, in Argentine Patagonia. Getting there is easy: just 3 kilometers from the town, which can be covered in a 15-minute drive or a 30-minute walk.

DAY 1
Arrive to El Chalten Camp
Arrive to El Chaltén, a small lovely village located in the southern Patagonia area, within Los Glaciares National Park and well know as the trekking capital of Argentina. If you arrived by bus, we will pick you up from the bus station to transfer you to the hotel. You also can arrive by rented car.
Welcome at your luxury Chalten Camp
Our team of guides will welcome you with a complimentary drink and will approach you to plan the activities you will enjoy during your stay.

The Main Dome, inspired by the old houses of “Old Patagonia,” serves as the heart of the camp, where guests can enjoy candlelit dinners and share stories in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. In addition to the comforts of our domes, we offer a variety of experiences in the camp, from relaxing in hammocks facing Fitz Roy to exploring the trails that border the Río de las Vueltas. DAY 2
Explore the camp or enjoy any trekking in the area of Fitz Roy Massif
After breakfast, free time to enjoy the camp, or start any of the available and amazing trekkings in the area of the Fitz Roy, like Laguna de los Tres, or Laguna Torre, or the shorter options like Mirador de los Condores, or Chorrillo del Salto.
Experiences at the Campsite
The luxury camp create unforgettable memories. Sleeping in a dome under the stars offers a unique opportunity to feel and discover the true spirit of Patagonia. Additionally, you can relax and enjoy the spaces of our campsite. Unwind in hammocks facing the majestic Cerro Fitz Roy, immerse yourself in the serenity of our hanging beds next to the Río de las Vueltas, or have a picnic at outdoor tables. Follow the trail that borders the Río de las Vueltas, surrounded by the beauty of lenga and ñire forests. You can choose a short walk to a water clearing or a longer hike to Estancia La Florida.

After breakfast, free time to enjoy any of the activities available at the camp, or enjoy any of the amazing trekkings available in El Chaltén area.

No, these trekkings are usually self-guided. Of course, you can book and confirm a guide for you. These activities are not included in the rate, but we can confirm that for you for a supplement. Just let us know.

Yes! we can quote and add internal flights, just let ´s know.
Can I add or delete nights?

What about buses? Can I book buses with you?
