ITINERARY

Departure from Puerto Natales

Your experience begins with pick-up from your accommodation in Puerto Natales at one of the four available departure times. Travel toward Hotel Lago Grey, located inside Torres del Paine National Park, where you will complete the check-in process before beginning your glacier adventure.

Arrival at Hotel Lago Grey

Upon arrival at Hotel Lago Grey, complete your check-in and prepare for the navigation. Restroom facilities are available at the hotel. Please note that admission to Torres del Paine National Park is not included in the tour price.

Walk Along Grey Beach

From the hotel, follow a scenic 30-minute walk along Grey Beach, covering approximately 3 kilometers to reach the Grey III boarding area. The route is exposed to the wind, offering views of the surrounding Patagonian landscape.

During periods when the Pingo River’s water level allows it, the hotel may provide an approach boat as an alternative to walking. This service is not available from May to September, and its operation during the high season depends on weather conditions and confirmation at check-in.

Grey Lake Navigation

Board the Grey III catamaran and begin an approximately one-hour navigation across Grey Lake toward the glacier. Along the way, sail among floating icebergs while enjoying the scenery of forests, mountains, and Patagonian landscapes surrounding the lake.

A guide provides commentary in Spanish or English during the experience.

Discover Grey Glacier

As you reach the front of Grey Glacier, take in the extraordinary blue tones of the ice and the deep cracks running across its surface. The glacier descends from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, creating an impressive natural setting.

During your time on board, enjoy a traditional pisco sour or another beverage while admiring the glacier and its surroundings.

Return to Puerto Natales

After visiting the glacier, navigate back along the same route toward Hotel Lago Grey. From there, your shared transfer will take you back to your accommodation in Puerto Natales, concluding an approximately eight-hour experience.
