Puerto Natales – Milodon Cave – Cerro Castillo
Your adventure begins with hotel pick-up in Puerto Natales. The first stop is the Milodon Cave, a huge natural cavern about 200 meters long where remains of a prehistoric giant sloth were discovered. After exploring the site, continue to Cerro Castillo, a small village where you’ll stop for coffee before entering the park.
Torres del Paine National Park
Upon entering Torres del Paine National Park, enjoy breathtaking landscapes where the steppe gives way to forests, lakes, and snow-capped peaks. Along the way, it’s common to spot guanacos, rheas, foxes, and other native fauna. The road passes by turquoise lakes such as Sarmiento, Nordenskjöld, and Pehoé, offering stunning photo opportunities.
Salto Grande & Grey Lake
A short 20-minute walk leads to Salto Grande, one of the park’s most famous waterfalls connecting Nordenskjöld and Pehoé Lakes. Afterward, head to Grey Lake, where you can enjoy a walk to a panoramic viewpoint to admire icebergs floating from Grey Glacier.
At the end of the day, return to Puerto Natales via the same route or along the scenic road bordering Lakes Toro, Porteño, and Sofía.
