Along the way, it’s possible to spot local wildlife, including the South American ostrich, known as ñandú, and the guanaco, a wild camelid. Upon entering the park, we discover a series of vividly colored lagoons, ice-covered mountains, and abundant local fauna. Next, we pause for a 20-minute hike to Salto Grande on the Paine River.
