The buses depart from the respective bus terminals and the journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. It’s recommended to book your tickets in advance, especially during the high season from November to February.

By Car: You can rent a car from either Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales and drive to Torres del Paine. The journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours from both cities, and the roads are generally in good condition. Keep in mind that some parts of the road can be unpaved, so it’s recommended to rent a high-clearance vehicle if you plan to explore the park’s more remote areas.

How to reach Torres del Paine from El Calafate?

To reach Torres del Paine from El Calafate, you will need to cross the border from Argentina to Chile. Here are two possible options:

By Bus: There are several bus companies that offer services from El Calafate to Puerto Natales, the nearest town to Torres del Paine. The journey takes around 5 hours, and you will need to cross the border at Cerro Castillo. From Puerto Natales, you can take a bus or rent a car to Torres del Paine.
