Yes, it is highly recommended to book campsites and refuges in advance, especially during the high season (October–April). The park is a popular destination, and the availability of campsites and refuges is limited, so securing a reservation is essential to ensure you have a place to stay. For the W Trek and the O Circuit, reservations for both campsites and refuges are required.  If you’re visiting during peak season, it’s best to make bookings several months in advance to avoid disappointment.

In the off-season (May–September), there are fewer visitors, and you might have more flexibility with bookings, but it’s still a good idea to reserve in advance, especially if you’re planning to stay in refuges or specific campsites.
