The adventure begins with a transfer from El Chaltén to the hanging bridge of Estancia Bonanza, where the mountain biking journey starts. After crossing the Río del Bosque by zipline, participants ride 14 km along the old La Florida road back to El Chaltén. The trail offers diverse terrain, including flats, ascents, and descents, requiring mountain biking skills. Throughout the ride, there are stunning views of Cerro Fitz Roy. Once back in El Chaltén, the biking concludes, and participants relax by the river with a tasty packed lunch.
After lunch, around 2:15 pm, the group prepares for the next stage: rafting on the Río de las Vueltas. The mountain biking guide leads them to the rafting base at Av. San Martin 872 to gear up before heading to the river. After a safety briefing, the rafting starts with a calm 6 km section, offering great views of Fitz Roy and native wildlife. The second 10 km section takes participants through a canyon with 20 thrilling Class III to III+ rapids. The adventure ends with a snack and a ride back to the base.
Please note: a minimum of 4 people is required for the excursion to take place.
