From El Chalten, we will take Route 23 to enter the Cordillera to arrive at Lago del Desierto (37kms – 1.15 hs gravel road and stones), where we will embark towards the Reserve Vespignani. During the 20-minute navigation, you can see the Huemul and Vespignani glaciers and the north face of Mount Fitz Roy. Then, at the reserve, will be received by the local guide, who will provide information on 3 self-guided trails (easy, moderate, and difficult). From the last two, it is possible to appreciate the Vespignani Glacier – the largest and most imposing of the Lake of the Desert – and have an incredible view of Cerro Fitz Roy.
Technical Difficulty: Easy or moderate-difficult, depending on the path chosen by the passenger.
