This exciting kayak adventure in El Chaltén takes you on a scenic 12 km journey down the Las Vueltas River. You’ll begin at the base in El Chaltén, receive all necessary equipment and safety instructions, and travel to Laguna Condor. Paddle through shallow meandering waters surrounded by Patagonian forest with stunning views of Mount Fitz Roy. End your experience with a delicious lunch at Estancia Bonanza before returning to town. No prior kayaking experience is required, making it perfect for adventure seekers of all levels.
The adventure begins at our base in El Chaltén (Av. San Martín 872), where participants receive technical and safety equipment. After gearing up, you’ll be transported by van 21 km along RP 41 to the Laguna Cóndor Viewpoint near Lake del Desierto. Here, the navigation begins after a safety briefing, as you embark on a 12 km journey down the Río de las Vueltas. This scenic section of the river winds through a beautiful Patagonian Andean forest, with the north face of Fitz Roy towering in the distance. The ride lasts approximately 1.5 hours, depending on river flow and wind conditions.
At the end of the journey, you’ll arrive at Estancia Bonanza, where a delicious lunch awaits with stunning views of Cerro Fitz Roy. After the meal, you’ll return by van to El Chaltén. For those opting out of lunch, the return is scheduled around 1:00 pm.

• 22 days or more prior to reservation: no charge. Reimbursement is done in the same currency, minus the bank expenses produced by such operation.
• From 8 to 21 days prior to reservation: penalty equivalent to the 50% reservation fee.
• 7 days prior to reservation. Penalty equivalent to the amount paid up to that moment.
• Any changes to confirmed reservations is subject to the availability of the company.
Yes, every day from October 1st to April 30th, except for December 31st and January 1st.
Minimum age is 12 years old. Minors between 12 and 18 years old who want to do this activity must be accompanied by at least one of their parents.
After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
In case of cancellation due weather conditions, reservations which cannot be reprogrammed will be reimbursed.
